Not financial advice

Everything published on Coinculb is educational and general in nature. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. We do not know your circumstances, your obligations, your existing holdings or your tolerance for loss, and we are not able to advise you.

We are not a regulated financial adviser, broker or dealer. Before making any financial decision, consider speaking to a qualified, regulated professional in your own country.

Crypto is high-risk

Cryptocurrency is a volatile asset class. Prices can fall sharply and without warning, and it is entirely possible to lose the whole of any amount you commit. Individual projects fail permanently and their tokens can become worthless. Historic performance tells you nothing reliable about future performance.

Only ever commit money you can genuinely afford to lose.

No guarantees

We publish no price predictions presented as fact, no guaranteed returns, and no assurances about any asset’s future value. Where we discuss possible future outcomes, they are clearly labelled scenarios resting on stated assumptions, and those assumptions may prove wrong.

Irreversibility and protection

Crypto transactions are typically irreversible. There is generally no chargeback mechanism and no deposit protection scheme covering crypto assets. If funds are sent to the wrong address, or to a fraudster, they usually cannot be recovered.

Accuracy and currency

We work hard to be accurate and we correct errors visibly. Even so, this is a fast-moving field: fees, features, regulations and protocol behaviour change, and an article accurate on its publication date may not remain so. Always verify important details against the primary source before acting. Prices and market data shown on this site are indicative, may be delayed, and come from third-party providers we do not control.

Third parties

Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, security or practices. Some links are affiliate links — see our affiliate disclosure.

Your responsibility

Tax treatment of crypto varies by jurisdiction and changes; you are responsible for your own reporting and compliance. You are responsible for the security of your own wallets, keys and accounts. Decisions you make remain yours.
