Dollar-cost averaging back-test
This does not project a return. It replays a real price history and reports what that schedule would have produced over that specific window — which is a fact about the past, not a forecast.
What this calculator ignores
- A different window gives a very different answer. Try several before drawing any conclusion.
- The window available here is short by investing standards. It cannot tell you what a decade would do.
- Ignores fees, which on small recurring buys are proportionally large.
- This is arithmetic on the numbers you typed. It is not advice, and it does not know your circumstances.
Other calculators
- Crypto converter Convert any tracked coin to US dollars, and back, at the current price.
- Profit and loss What a position actually returned once you account for the fees on both sides.
- Return on investment Total and annualised return, so results over different time spans can be compared.
- Position size How large a position can be before a stop-out costs more than you decided to risk.
- Staking and compounding How a stated yield compounds — and how far the token price can fall before the yield stops mattering.
