Position size
This is a risk-control tool, not a trade idea. You choose the most you are willing to lose; it tells you the largest position consistent with that. Working this out beforehand is the single habit that separates people who survive a bad run from people who do not.
What this calculator ignores
- A stop-loss is not a guarantee. In a fast market, orders fill below the stop, sometimes far below.
- Sizing a position correctly does not make it a good position.
- This is arithmetic on the numbers you typed. It is not advice, and it does not know your circumstances.
Other calculators
- Crypto converter Convert any tracked coin to US dollars, and back, at the current price.
- Profit and loss What a position actually returned once you account for the fees on both sides.
- Return on investment Total and annualised return, so results over different time spans can be compared.
- Dollar-cost averaging back-test What buying a fixed amount on a schedule would actually have produced, using real past prices.
- Staking and compounding How a stated yield compounds — and how far the token price can fall before the yield stops mattering.
